Meet the founder

Hey, I'm Megan!

For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked in early childhood education—as a teacher, program director, consultant, and mentor. No matter the role, one thing always stood out: I had a knack for organization. I became the “systems person,” the one colleagues turned to when things felt messy, overwhelming, or inefficient. And honestly? I loved it.

The Problem I Saw

Time and again, I saw brilliant directors and passionate preschool owners spending more energy on paperwork, juggling clunky software, and reinventing the wheel than on leading their programs.

The tools that existed for ECE? They were either too expensive, too generic, or still left directors with gaps. Instead of simplifying, they often added more stress. And for programs trying to scale, nothing truly fit.

Why Level Up ECE was Created

I wanted a custom solution—one that was tangible, scalable, collaborative, and could house all parts of a preschool program in one place. I needed something organized yet flexible, something that worked for real directors, not just in theory.

When I couldn’t find it, I created it.
That’s how Level Up ECE was born: out of a desire to give leaders systems that actually fit their programs—without the overwhelm or the sky-high price tag.

Current platforms weren't enough

Most ECE tools were either too generic, missing key features, or far too expensive for what they actually offered. Nothing truly met the real needs of preschool leaders.

I needed a complete, scalable solution
